The P6 year, month by month

The whole run from DSA to posting day, with the real dates, so nothing arrives as a surprise.

  1. DSA applications

6 May to 2 June. Outcomes arrive in August. Accepting a confirmed offer commits your child to that school and skips school choice in November.

  2. PSLE oral

12 and 13 August, English and Mother Tongue. The exam season opens here.

  3. PrelimsYou are here

Mid-August into September, each school sets its own dates. The first real read on where your child stands. Prelim marks turn into an AL score and a school list below, while there is still runway.

  4. Listening comprehension

15 September. Mother Tongue at 9am, English at 11.15am.

  5. PSLE written papers

24 to 30 September. Four subjects in one week. Then the long wait.

  6. Results

Expected 24 to 25 November. School choices open the same day and close about a week later, so the thinking is best done before results day, not during it.

  7. S1 posting

Results land mid-December. A transfer appeal needs the new cut-off met, plus a vacancy.

The score is one number. The work is topic by topic.

StudyLah turns PSLE Maths practice into a calm daily habit, with an AL band on every paper and a walkthrough for every wrong answer.
