Three things, all in one place. Daily Practice is a short set waiting every day, about five minutes, and finishing it keeps their streak going. Topic Drill works on one topic or one concept until it moves from new to mastered. Exam Mode sits a full timed paper, or a Weighted Assessment scoped to what the school has taught this term.

How StudyLah works

Lah is the otter tutor inside StudyLah. When your child gets a question wrong, Lah talks the solution through out loud, step by step, lighting up the exact numbers on the question as she says them. Your child can replay a step or stay on it, and nothing moves on until they do.

Meet Lah

They all go into your child's mistake book on StudyLah, sorted by topic, whichever mode they were in. StudyLah works out whether each one was a careless slip or something they're still learning, and says so. Reading the mistake book, and every worked solution in it, is free on every plan. With Retry Mistakes on Premium, the question comes back rebuilt, the same challenge with a new story, new numbers and redrawn figures, so your child has to actually solve it again rather than remember the answer.

The kinds of online maths help, compared

Yes. In the dashboard there is a schedule editor where you set which topics your child's school teaches in which term, for Primary 1 to 6, against the real MOE term dates. Practice and the Weighted Assessment papers then scope to that, so your child is not being tested on something their class has not reached yet. We start you off with a sensible default, and you move anything that does not match.

StudyLah is built for that. Sessions are short and work on a phone, feedback is instant, and a wrong answer becomes a worked solution and a hint, not a dead end. Lah reacts to every answer, and a streak and new Lah looks reward turning up. When it counts, Exam Mode puts them through a full, timed paper that feels like the real thing.

On the StudyLah parent dashboard, free on every plan: time spent, questions done, accuracy over the term, topic mastery from new to mastered, an Achievement Level on every P5 and P6 paper (a Band for P1 to P4), and every mistake with its worked solution. A short progress report also arrives by email every week, free, with a clear suggestion of what to work on next.

No, and it is not meant to. School and a good tutor give your child real, human teaching. StudyLah is the practice layer in between: it replaces the assessment-book grind, the marking, and the guessing about whether practice is paying off. It makes self-practice actually work, and tells you where your child stands.

Does my child need maths tuition?

Each StudyLah account is for one child, so each child has their own practice, mistake book and progress. For a second child, set up a second account with another email address.

Yes, and not as a trial that runs out. The StudyLah free plan gives real practice with real questions every day, with full worked solutions, hints, the mistake book and the whole parent dashboard. It has daily limits: one Daily Practice and one Topic Drill a day, and one full exam paper a month. Premium takes the limits off and adds Retry Mistakes.

Premium is S$34.90 a month, or S$299 a year. It lets your child redo every question they got wrong, rebuilt fresh, unlocks unlimited Daily Practice, Topic Drills, and Exams, and includes the Premium-only Lah looks. Monthly can be cancelled anytime from your settings, and you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. Yearly renews once a year, and we email you before it does.

Yes. A family new to Premium can try it free for 14 days. Nothing is charged on the day you start: the email that confirms the trial gives the date of the first charge, and you can cancel any time before it. Cancelling ends Premium straight away.

Yes, one public code, and we keep the list on our own site. It takes 30% off your first month of Premium, for new subscribers. We publish it because coupon sites invent StudyLah codes that have never existed, and finding out at checkout that a code is fake just wastes your evening. You do not need one to start, though. The free plan is genuinely free, and a code only matters on the day you decide to upgrade.

Every question is written to the standard of real PSLE and top-school exams, checked before it's published, and developed with input from Singapore tutors, including former MOE teachers. If something still looks off, there is a flag button on every question. We read every report and we fix what's wrong. We would rather you flag one than sit there wondering.

Yes. StudyLah has no ads, no open chat and no strangers: your child sees maths practice and Lah, and nothing else. A parent creates and holds the account, and your child practises through a profile you control.

StudyLah follows Singapore's PDPA. You hold the account, and your child's data belongs to you. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use children's data for advertising. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and why, and you can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time.

No. StudyLah runs in the browser on a phone, tablet or computer, so there is nothing to install. On a phone you can add it to your home screen, and it opens like an app.
