FAQ
Questions parents ask
Is StudyLah aligned with the 2026 PSLE Maths syllabus?
Yes. StudyLah follows the current syllabus, so the practice reflects the real changes: Speed is no longer tested, Average and Ratio sit in Primary 6, Pie Charts and Nets are now Primary 4 topics, and basic algebra is part of P6. Your child is not practising on material that has quietly gone out of date.
What subjects and levels do you cover?
Maths, for Primary 3 to Primary 6, at launch. We are starting with one subject and one band of levels and doing them properly. Primary 1 and 2, and other subjects like English, Science, and Mother Tongue languages are on the roadmap, and the more families who go Premium, the faster they arrive.
Is it really free?
Yes, and not as a trial that runs out. The free plan gives real practice with real questions every day, with full worked solutions, hints, and progress tracking. There are daily limits on the free plan: one Daily Practice and one Topic Drill a day, and one full Exam a month. Premium removes the limits.
How much is Premium, and can I cancel?
Premium is billed monthly at around S$34.90 a month, and it unlocks unlimited Daily Practice, Topic Drills, and Exams. There is no yearly lock-in and no contract. Cancel anytime from your settings, and you keep access until the end of the month you have paid for. Because it is monthly and you can leave whenever you like, it is non-refundable, so you are never tying money up.
Will my child actually use it?
That is the whole design goal. StudyLah is built mobile-first, with short sessions and quick feedback, so it feels like something a child will open rather than a chore they avoid. A wrong answer becomes a worked solution and a hint, not a dead end. And when it counts, Exam Mode puts them through a full, timed paper that feels like the real thing.
How is StudyLah different from other practice apps?
We focus on closing the loop. Your child practises, gets a full worked solution and hints on every question, and a link straight to the concept behind it. You get a dashboard with topic mastery, an AL score, and a clear suggestion of what to work on next. The point is not just to give your child more questions, but to make every question teach something and to tell you whether it is working.
Does StudyLah replace school or tuition?
No, and it is not meant to. School and a good tutor give your child real, human teaching. StudyLah is the practice layer in between: it replaces the assessment-book grind, the marking, and the guessing about whether practice is paying off. It makes self-practice actually work, and tells you where your child stands.
What about my child's data and privacy?
You hold the account. Your child practises through a profile you set up and control, and that data belongs to you. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use children's data for advertising. Our Privacy Policy explains exactly what we collect and why, and you can ask to see, correct, or delete your data at any time.
Do you have an app to download?
StudyLah works in any browser, on a phone, tablet, or computer, so there is nothing to install to get started. Native apps may come later.
